The Program The Articulated Career Guidance Program is a comprehensive and dynamic career education program for counselors to use to develop students' self-awareness, values clarification, and career awareness. It is especially effective with junior high or middle school students. The program links educational goals and success with the world of work. Activities are organized by grade levels, but can be easily adapted for other levels. They are suitable for small groups and classroom presentation. Articulate awareness and skills activities are reinforced at each level. Professional Development The D/D trains counseling staff and teachers working with counselors. Training requires one day with demonstrations. Costs and Funding Options There is a consultant fee of $300 per day, plus travel and lodging. Manuals are $100 each, with the right to reproduce. Possible funding sources for replication include ESEA Title VI. |
