Benefits of Certification
Special recognition is given to programs that are designated as a promising practice or validation candidate in the following ways:
Program recognition and advocacy
Your program will be summarized for statewide dissemination in the NYS publication, Educational Programs That Work (EPTW)
booklet; on the Sharing Success website; and in other relevant publications and newsletters. Other school districts with similar needs will be encouraged to replicate/adapt your program.
Professional recognition
Directors of validated programs and promising practices are often seen as leaders in their fields. Opportunities for speaking engagements and presentations at statewide and regional meetings and conferences may become available to you.
Competitive edge for grants
Your status as a designated program will draw the attention of grant reviewers on any competitive grant applications you are seeking.
Sharing Success certification distinguishes your application from all others.
How to Begin
